Stage 2 - Radio Advert

Stage 1 - Script Production

First Draft

Final Draft

The first draft i thought that it had room for improvement and it didnt professional enough for a radio advert, also i timed myself reading the script and it wasn't long enough. I was happy with my final draft as i thought it sounded more classy and less "annoying".

Stage 2 - Show evidence of how you sourced your elements for your commercial

I sourced my backing track from Soundcloud but as this is a copyrighted song, i will change the pitch of the song to avoid copyright infringements.

I used Adobe Audition CS6 to change the pitch of my song, i went into effects, then pitch and changed it to +2.6Db

This is the voice over i used for my radio advert, i chose my Tutor Damen Bramwell as my voiceover as he has had previous experience in the radio industry it would give my final product a professional standard.

I used Reaper to edit my radio advert, first of all, i added my voice over then i added my backing track which is "FCL - Let's go" i then picked the section of the song that i wanted and used the razor tool to cut and shorten the song to the required length. i then faded the song in and out as the finishing touch.

Stage 1 - Describe your client

My client is Tessuti LTD which is a North West England based designer men's and women's wear fashion store which was established in 1985 in Chester.

I have recently been employed by JD's marketing team to create a radio commercial to advertise the company Tessuti as they have recently bought 60% of their shares and want to raise awareness of the company to the public as they are opening more branches nationwide spreading across the UK as they only had stores in the North West and they are opening stores down South. I have complete control over this commercial and i have not been given a budget or specific requirements except that it cant be over 30 seconds in length. I will use contacts that i have from my media course and background, I have decided that my target audience will be middle class and upper class people as this company is a fashion boutique and the items that are sold in store sold are substantially higher than other typical retail stores. my unique selling point is "Tessuti, where style comes first" is to specify that if you want stylist clothing, Tessuti is the place to come as the first thing they have in mind is style.
